First Place in 3-D

I attended the opening of the seventh annual Brady-Kendall juried art exhibition this afternoon and was delighted to discover that I had won first place in the 3-D category. There was lots of beautiful pieces in the show. Hopefully you will have a chance to go by and see it. The exhibit will be open through September 28 at the Arts Council Building in Whiteville. The title of my piece is "Who Will Protect the Children" and it is an assemblage about the bombing at Hiroshima. It was inspired after my visit to Hiroshima's Peace Park in Japan.

"I guess the ole man still has it!" LOL!
