MY LATEST SCULPTURE

Anyone that knows me knows my love for 3-D art. I thought I'd show you my latest piece that I finished just in time for the Yam Festival Art Show. It is an assemblage done on an old denim jacket that I have had for years and years. If you don't know, an assemblage is a piece of artwork created by assembling various pieces of material, usually those that are found. Thus it can also be referred to as "found art". The title of this piece is "I Left My Heart In Ghana" and is all about the people, culture, conditions, etc. that I discovered during my three visits there.
