INTEGRATING WRITING WITH ART

Author Ernest Hemingway was once bet that he could not write a complete story with just six words. Believe it or not, he did. Afterwards Hemingway said that this piece was the best prose he had ever written. What do you think? His six word story was as follows: "For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn." Wow!

So I assigned this writing task to my Arts and Technology and Advanced Art classes. I wanted to share with you their original prose. By the way the Arts and Technology class was asked to illustrate their prose as well. I have included a few of them for you to look at. All of the other students' writing have been published in this post. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
